Insurance & Billing Policy

Our practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders and sleep apnea, which are considered medical conditions. For this reason, services are billed to medical insurance, not dental insurance.

Dental Insurance

We do not accept dental insurance for TMJ or sleep-related treatment.

Authorized Non-Network Providers

Out-of-Network Insurance

We are out-of-network with plans such as Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).

  1. Payment is required in full at the time of service
  2. Our office will submit claims on your behalf whenever possible
  3. Reimbursement is issued directly to the patient according to their individual plan benefits

GAP Coverage

When applicable, our office will attempt to request GAP coverage to help reduce out-of-pocket costs. Approval is determined by the insurance carrier and is not guaranteed.
